The Bar X5 slot is one of the more classic additions to the industry. It takes you back to old casino pulley slots where you literally had to pull down the handle to spin the wheel. We’d say that there was a little more about than a lot of the traditional slots, but this is mainly down to the graphics rather than the gameplay itself.

As we said, it’s a classic slot so what you see is what you get, and that’s not an awful lot in todays modern marketplace. But, you’ll get a 3 reel, 1-payline game, just like you used to back in the day.

One of the downsides to these types of slots is that the number of features is few and far between. There’s no free spins, bonus rounds or anything like to choose from, which may be pretty alien to some of the younger punters amongst you.

What you will be able to grab is the auto nudge feature, which means the slot will take your best reel(s)and spins the other(s). It would actually of been quite nice to hit the nudge/hold button yourself, but this feature doesn’t seem to be operating.

All you’re looking to get is three of a kind, along the middle row, with either the X’s or the Bar. Depending on your stake will determine how much you win from each, but you can easily see in the top right hand corner of the game as to how much you are set to win.

The max bet is £20 a spin, which means the most you can win off one spin is £1,000 with 3 Bars. At the same spin rate 3 X’s will get you £200.

Verdict

These classic type slots are often for a pretty hardcore crowd of slots players. It’s for a player that likes a no frills game and often a bit of trip as to how slots used to be, back in the day. The Bar X5 game isn’t going to compare with your video slots, but then, that’s not really the point.
