Batman is one of the biggest movie franchises in the world. In one of the more exciting slots that we have reviewed, you get to follow the Dark Knight as he try’s to overcome the evil Joker. The game includes a bunch of favourites from the film such as the bat mobile and all of the gadgets that will be familiar to lovers of the franchise.
One of the reasons as to why we were so excited to get our mitts on this game is the fact that it comes as a 5 reel, 50-payline game. It’s actually one of very few to carry this many pay-lines, which makes it that little bit more exciting than most. On top of that you will able to play with a number of wild cards, scatters and bonus rounds to keep you entertained.
Special Features
Wild
The Batman face is your wild symbol and this, as in most slots, will substitute itself in to make winning pay-lines. But, unlike many games, any winnings made whilst using this symbol will be doubled. Bear in mind that the wild symbol will only appear on reels 2,3 and 4.
Respins
The first bonus round that we want to talk about is the re-spin feature. This will occur when you get the Commissioner Gordon on reel 1 and the Bat signal on reel 5, or vice versa. From there, the three middle reels will all expand and then hold to make up extra winning lines. Reels 1 and 5 will continue to spin 3 times for this feature and any winnings will be doubled.
It’s worth noting that if the Commissioner and Bat signal appear again in this feature, then the re-spins can be re-triggered.
Descent into Madness
The second bonus round is the slightly more exciting Decent into Madness. To trigger this, you need to have been playing the Bonus Bet game and then get 3 or more the scatter symbols.
Once in, you, as Batman, will have to try and stop the Joker with Batman’s beterang. But, the joker is hiding out with his inmates from the prison who tried to aid his escape. If you are successful in trapping the Joker then you will be paid 100 times your bet amount when the bonus feature was awarded.

What many will not know is that this is the only officially licensed Batman game in the industry. There are alternatives such as the Dark Knight Rises, but this is essentially the original.
