There’s plenty of treasure to find in Ancient Egypt, you only have to go searching through the ruins and buried temples and pyramids to come across gold and jewels from centuries ago. The Cleopatra’s Coins game takes you back in time to the age of the Ancient Egyptians and the civilisations last ruler.
While the graphics in this slot game aren’t the greatest, that could have something to do with the time period that it was created in. You see, this Rival Gaming slot was launched in 2006, so it’s had several years of wear and tear. That being said, the symbols and other graphics are at least clear to understand. To begin with, the reels play host to five symbols of hieroglyphics, with each one a different colour. You’ll also see a symbol of Cleopatra herself, then another one of Marc Antony and a third of Julius Caesar (two of Cleopatra’s Roman lovers). The last standard symbol’s in this game are that of the pyramids and sphinx.
You’ll see that Cleopatra’s Coins takes place on a standard video slot interface of five reels and three rows in total. The theme of Ancient Egypt is often associated with the scarab beetle. In this game, it is the scarab beetle that operates as the wild addition to the reels. As a wild, this one will substitute for all other symbols within the game, except for the scatter icons.
If you manage to spin five of the wild symbol into view on a winning pay line, then you will see your bet multiplied by a total of 5,000x.
Bonus
The gold coin is the symbol which will trigger the slot’s bonus round. At least three of these need to appear on the reels for the bonus round to begin, and when it does, Cleopatra will give you the chance to smash various urns.

It’s always nice to see online slot games that take an overused theme and give it new life. Rival Gaming may have been one of the first to create a game surrounding Ancient Egypt way back in 2006, and it still stands out as being different to the rest. The bonus round makes it more entertaining, while the familiar inclusion of free spins and a wild symbol also bring extra appeal to Cleopatra’s Coins.
