For those of you familiar with the original Da Vinci Diamonds game, then forget what you think you know as this is a totally different gaming experience. First up, the theme is pretty obvious and based on one of the world’s most famous artists, Leonardo Da Vinci. The slot will include pictures and portraits that he created over the years, including the Mona Lisa. The dual feature comes into play giving you not one, but essentially two slots to play from for each game. It includes the games now infamous tumble feature, which works a little bit like Tetris, and we will go into more detail about this later on in the review.
The game is essentially a 5 reel, 20 payline game, but you do get two sets to play from. On top of that you get the tumble feature along with wilds and free spins to keep things feeling fresh.
Special Features
We thought best to start with the tumble feature as this is something that will appear more than anything else. So, how it works is that the game includes two 5×3 slots that are stacked on top of each other. If you get a winning payline then the symbols from that payline will be removed and then the ones from above will tumble down into their place. The game will then re-calculate to see if you have any more winning lines, and keep paying out and removing symbols accordingly.
With having two slots, it means that the symbols from the slot above can also tumble into the reels below. This works really well when you get into the free spins section.
Free Spins
To access the free spins feature you need to pull up three or more of the bonus symbols on a winning payline. Once you’ve done this then you will get an initial 6 free spins and your game will start automatically. You can then get multiple new free spins when in the feature by simply getting three or more of the same bonus symbol. The game will end when you have no more free spins remaining or you hit the maximum allocation of 300.

Verdict
The dual play feature certainly adds a whole new dimension to the Da Vinci slot. The original game was good, but the introduction of the tumbling symbols makes this one just that little bit more exciting. Overall, we’d say the game seems to pay out more often and for larger amounts, although this could simply be down to sample size.
