Can you imagine being a firefighter who has to tackle a raging firestorm? That’s one scenario we wouldn’t like to see ourselves in. You may want to check out Firestorm 7 from Rival Gaming though, for a taste of what it might be like. While you’re not going to have an in-depth experience with this one, there’s the potential for an entertaining time none-the-less. Rival has done a decent enough job with the graphics in the slot; it’s just that there’s nothing overwhelmingly special about how everything plays out in Firestorm 7.
The game features a total of three reels, which should give you an idea of how things look. There are also three rows in play, but only the middle one has a pay line running across it which is always active. On the other hand, you can alter the bet that you place per spin. To do this, you must first pick a specific coin value between 1p and £10, then choose how many of those coins you want in operation per spin between one and three to reach an overall bet of up to £30 per spin.
The visual side of Firestorm 7 is decent enough, but the slot doesn’t contain award winning graphics, so while everything is clear to see and understand it doesn’t stand up to the best of Rival’s work. The background depicts those blazing flames mentioned earlier, while some lit cannisters of gas can be seen at either side of the reels. Upon the three reels themselves you’ll be able to see the game’s symbols. These start out with the traditional BAR additions which come in single, double, and treble format. The red 7 and yellow 7 make up two other symbols on the slot’s reels, while the final symbol of a flip lighter can pay out a maximum of 7,500x your stake.
Strangely enough, for a 3-reel slot Firestorm 7 does have one or two inbuilt features to add to the base gameplay. The first of these is the scatter symbol, which comes in the shape of the petrol can.
Being a scatter symbol, this one is able to appear in any position on the reels and still provide you with a pay-out for it. You’re actually able to win a pay-out of up to 2,400x your stake whenever three of them come into view.
What’s even stranger is that Firestorm 7 also has its own free spins function. This is almost never the case with 3-reel slots, so it does enhance the game a lot. The free spins symbol is the explosive red tank, and if you manage to spin two of those into view the feature round starts.
You’ll be given 7 free spins altogether in this instance. However, should you manage to spin three of those symbols into view you’ll get 21 free spins to play through. During this particular feature, all of the winning combinations that you form will receive a triple multiplier.
Firestorm 7 is one of those games that you simply cannot pass up on if you’re a three-reel fan. Granted, it doesn’t have the most inventive of special features within, but for a 3-reel slot it is more feature rich than usual. Graphically, Rival Gaming has done a good enough job with Firestorm 7 without outdoing themselves. It’s maybe not one for more seasoned slots players to access, but will provide some entertainment to newer gamers or 3-reel fans wanting a little something extra.
