Flame of Fortune is an online slot game that is on fire – literally. Below the reels there is a fiery pit, the flames of which all but lick the bottom row of symbols. The flames are animated, by the way, and that is the only animated feature that this offering boasts. Nevertheless, the overall quality of the graphics in Flame of Fortune is still pretty good. Before the Big Bet spins start you will need to spin one of the two Wheels of Fate. One is blue and the other red, each offering different features such as Gold Reels, Wild Reels and Expanding Wilds. Whichever feature you land will be active for the duration of the entire Big Bet Mode.
Dove
The Dove symbol acts as a Wild and can appear in any position, anywhere on the reels. It has the capacity to replace any of the other symbols with the exception of the golden symbols. However, if you play on stakes that are equal to or more than £2 per spin, the Wild will substitute for all other icons. Obviously, the same goes for the Big Bet Mode, too.
Golden Symbols
The symbols that appear on gold plates (golden symbols) have an important role in triggering one of the game’s special features. If you land 5 of these on active paylines this will activate the Fortune Drop Feature, and as a result you will find yourself looking at a 5 by 5 grid on which you will need to land clusters of 3 or 4 horizontal or vertical symbols. These combinations of symbols will then disappear and give way for others to fall into their place.

Flame of Fortune is a solid, medium variance title with pretty decent winning possibilities. It isn’t too complex by any means, and gameplay is, in fact, rather smooth.
