When you think of a flea market, you might imagine various stalls with bric-a-brac and other unwanted items that are available to purchase. These have become known as a place to pick up useless nick-nacks, and Rival Gaming has put quite the spin on that theme. While the Flea Market slot does present imagery of a bargaining site, it’s actually being run and attended by real fleas. Can you imagine a flea haggling for a discount on a leftover lollipop? Or seeking out the best price for a diamond ring? Well, there’s no need to imagine it because Flea Market gives it to you in spades.

The slot features a layout made of three reels to spin and 3 rows to watch. However, there’s just a single pay line in operation which runs directly across the middle row of the game. Naturally, this is not something that you’ll be able to customise, so you’ll always be betting on one pay line. You can still alter the value of your bet though; first of all select a specific coin value between 1p and £25, then select whether you want one or two coins in operation per spin, to play a maximum overall wager of £50 per spin.

Visually speaking, the graphics at this Flea Market are fairly decent; Rival Gaming has made sure that all of the symbols are clear and crisp, while the background depicts a scene from the market itself. One flea has managed to secure a lollipop, while the other is checking out the details of a jar of something. The symbols upon the game’s reels start with the three different variations of the BAR icon – single, double and treble. Next in line is one of those lollipops, while a chest of drawers comes after this. This is the highest paying standard symbol, offering up rewards of 200x your stake at a maximum.

Special Features

Wild

It’s not common for slots with three reels to contain any special features at all, and if they do the speciality usually comes in the form of a standard wild. This is the case with Flea Market, which does provide a single wild symbol. This comes in the shape of the diamond ring which will substitute for all of the other symbols in the game. If one of them contributes to a winning combination then it will double the pay-out that you receive for it, too.

On the other hand, if two of them participate in a winning combination then you will see your win multiplied by 4x. A win that is formed solely of wild symbols will see you receive a bet multiplier of 10,000x, which is this slot’s highest overall reward.

Verdict

Flea Market isn’t a bad game by any means. The graphics are decent enough and it does have quite the unique theme behind it, too. The issue comes really when you consider that its’ only special feature is the wild symbol. That’s not a bad addition to a 3-reel slot – in fact it’s rare to see – it’s just that we always find ourselves wanting more from such simple titles. This being said, anyone who is just getting involved with the online slot sector may find it to be quite the appealing option to go for. For seasoned gamers, however, who are used to more exhilarating experiences, it might not even be a contender.
