Despite the layout seeming rather conventional, the setup is anything but that. And that much is clearly visible from the game’s special features. The Elk’s Light feature is a random one that can take place at the beginning of any spin during gameplay. As part of it, the Elk’s Light will reveal one of the five higher value symbols, and that symbol will replace all of the lower value rune symbols.
Wild Elk
For starters, the Wild symbol in this offering doesn’t come with any payouts of its own. Furthermore, the Wild can only land on the middle reel 3, and nowhere else. If it ever has the ability to partake in a winning combo, it will substitute for any of the other symbols to help complete it, however, the Wild will not be able to replace the game’s Scatter. In turn, the Scatter can only land on those reels which the Wild cannot. Hence, the Scatter can only appear on reels 1, 2, 4 and 5.
Freespins
Contrary to what you may be expecting, you will be relying on the Wild symbol to trigger the Freespins feature, not on the Scatter. To be precise, you will have to land a winning sequence with the Wild in it, and as a result you will receive a random number of free spins from 4 to 10. Furthermore, all throughout the duration of the bonus the Wild will remain on reel 3.
As the free spins go on, all wins that the Wild contributes to will be accumulated to form the Enduring Win.
