Midas is the King on this interesting and futuristic slot. The funny looking chap, not too dissimilar to the mascot from the Sugar Puffs cereal guy, is there to help you win some of the millions that the king has managed to earn over the years. The slot looks and feels like very few in the industry, which is a positive and with it comes a chance to win a large multiple of your bet.
The first thing that you will notice is that the Midas Millions slot isn’t a traditional slot type. In fact, it doesn’t have paylines and instead uses the honeycomb structure to payout clusters of the same symbol. It works in very much the same way that bejewelled or Tetris does, by making combinations of the same symbols. The more combinations you make, the more that win is worth.

Wilds
The wilds are all important in this game and whilst they serve a purpose on most slots, few will be more welcome than on Midas Millions. The first kind is your standard wild and with this the King will substitute his crown to make winning paylines. If you manage to get the gold crown then the King will make all of the symbols in that winning group into gold and then give you a 2x multiplier on how much you have won.
The super wild will mean that the King changes up to 6 symbols and change them into gold. Again, if they do this and turn them gold then you get the same 2x multiplier, but obviously the combinations will be bigger than the standard wild.
Free Spins
The free spins game is activated when you manage to get three or more of the free spins scatters. Once you’re into the game you get 10 free spins to start, but these can be re-triggered throughout by getting the same combination.
The free spins game will also introduce locking wilds, which remain in place for your entire time of the free spins game. The more free spins and locking wilds you get, the more lucrative this section of the slot becomes.

We are always impressed when we see slots trying to go against the grain somewhat and whilst the honeycomb feature isn’t something that’s particularly new to the slots industry, it’s still quite rare. The game offers something a little different to most, which is a huge positive in our eyes. The inclusion of a range of wilds and free spins allows you to potentially win some hefty multiples and we would highly recommend give Midas Millions a go, if you haven’t already.
