The game features its own unique layout, comprising five standard reels and three rows. The three middle reels are also attached to three mini five-reel, three row games which come into play at certain points during gameplay. A total of 20 paylines are available to wager on, with bets starting from as little as £0.20. Special Features
Wheel
Roman Chariots has several special features, the first of which is its scatter symbol, represented by a chariot’s wheel. This symbol can only appear on reels one and five, but if you’re able to spin two of these you’ll be rewarded with eight free spins and your payout will be double that of your bet.
Stacked Wilds
During the main game, should reels two, three or four fill up with stacked wild symbols – represented by a Roman soldier on horseback – they will fill up a meter on their respective mini games with a multiplier. These supercharged reel meters will continue filling up every time stacked wilds appear in their respective main game reels. This will therefore continue increasing the multiplier amount. These wilds do also substitute for all other symbols, except the bonus, reset and spin symbols.
Trumpets
Reel five plays host to the trumpet symbols, which are either green and will set the mini reels spinning either once, twice, three times or five times, should they make an appearance; or red, which clears the multiplier amounts off all the mini games. Upon spinning a green trumpet, the mini games will set off spinning for the stated amount of times, and should you receive wins on these rounds, they’ll be multiplied by the metered amount gained from the main game. The mini games will always feature a stack of wilds, providing you extra opportunities to create winning combinations.
