The Pixies come to life in this intriguing slot and with it comes a new perspective on how slots may perform in the future. The theme as you will have guessed is all bout Pixies, and whilst this may not be a ‘go to’ theme for most, it’s actually one that you maybe should be looking to try. The Pixies in question are doing their all to try and bag you as much cash as possible.

We said that this type of slot might be the way forward for online slots and that’s because it doesn’t work in the traditional manner. It includes what’s known as tumbling reels. This means that whenever you hit a winning payline, those symbols will be removed and pay out, and new symbols from above will drop into place. If a new winning combination is available then this will pay out again, potentially making for multiple wins from just one spin.

The game requires you to bet just 33 coins for 99 lines, basically giving you 3:1 on your money. However, you can bet a coin value of up to £50, making the max bet a whopping £1650 per spin. The least you can bet is 33 coins, so bear this in mind if you are working from a limited bankroll.

Special Features

Free Spins

The free spins game can be accessed by getting three or more of the bonus scatters on a winning payline. Once you are in, you will be asked to choose from a number of boxes to reveal the amount of free spins for that game. You will be given between 5 and 11 spins and this can be re-triggered during this game.

Wild

The wild symbol will appear on reels 2, 3 and 4, replacing all other symbols apart from the bonus symbol to create winning combinations for you. During free spins wilds will also become available on reel 1.

Verdict

Pixies of the Forest is one of the best slots to have been made for a long time in our opinion. We hear gripes in the industry about the amount it costs to play the game and we agree it is expensive to play and will appeal to high rollers pretty much exclusively; but that doesn’t put us off, and we see no harm in the odd game catering more for the larger bankrolls out there. Heck, there are hundreds of games where you can go and spin for a penny, but very few where you can spin for thousands at a time.
