Building further on the more recent adaptations of the Star Trek films, this game provides a more graphically pleasing and compelling story than the standard Star Trek game from IGT. All the usual characters are included in the game; Spock, Kirk and the rest of the crew are on hand to help you be successful in this mission. You’ll also see various Star Trek weaponry and planetary symbols have been included in the reels.

The game itself provides five reels, each with an alternate number of rows, set out in a 3x4x5x4x3 hexagon shape. There are 720 ways to win in the main game, incorporating MultiWay Xtra wagering into its gameplay. A total of 60 coins are set into the layout, with you being given the chance to bet a minimum of £0.60 to a maximum of £300 per spin.

Special Features

Star Trek: Against All Odds sees a wild symbol integrated into its reels, substituting for all others except for scatters. Scatters in the game are represented by red globules, and spinning three of these will pay three times the total wager placed. Spinning four will multiply the wager by 20 and spinning five multiplies it by 100.

Energizer Wild

Energizing wilds can randomly appear during a reel spin. This turns two to five symbols on the middle three reels into wilds, giving you super chances of crafting winning combinations.

Enterprise Defender Bonus Round

Five symbols of the Starship Enterprise will activate this bonus game. This allows you to defend the Enterprise from incoming Romulan missiles for 45 seconds. Your mouse cursor is the aimer for the defense weaponry, allowing you to target the incoming missiles. A total of 500 points are awarded per missile destroyed and 100 points per bomblet destroyed. The shooting ends when your shields are reduced to zero. If you accumulated over 12,000 points, you’ll be promoted to commander. Over 14,000 points will see you promoted to captain.

You’re then presented with nine different wheels to choose from, with the higher your rank in the previous game, revealing higher prizes behind the wheels. Up to 22,500 times your initial wager are available in this sub-round.
