Welcome to the magical world of Lunaris. With Lunaris you get to play with up to 60 mystery symbols that occur over two massive game reels. Whilst the concept certainly isn’t new, it’s still a rare inclusion for most online slots. One thing we will point out is that the design is simply stunning, and if any of you are familiar with the movie Avatar, then you will notice a real similarity with the graphics on Lunaris.

You’ve essentially got two reels on the game; your standard 5 x 4 reel and then a 5 x 12 next to it. With this comes a whopping 100 paylines to play from. You’ll also be able to play on the mystery symbols feature and take advantage of some lucrative wilds.

Special Features

Free Spins

The free spins round will be activated by getting three or more of the scatter symbol. Once in, you get 8 free spins to start and the game will automatically spin the reels. You’ll also be able to look out for the butterfly in the left-hand side board, and if it lands it will distribute over to the second set of reels to make some really nice combinations. Free spins can be re-triggered in multiples of 8 if you manage to pick up another three or more of the scatters anywhere on the screen. The more scatters you mange to pick up, the higher the number of free spins and also the multiplier, which will remain throughout the game.

Wild

The wild symbol will allow you to make even more winning paylines than you already had. It will act as a substitute in these instances and can also become stacked.

Verdict

Overall, we found the Lunaris slot to be calming and exciting all at the same time. It’s like some sort of magical no place where you can just sit back and relax. Everything from the graphics to the soundtrack makes it a real delight to play. It’s actually quite hard to describe just how good the experience was and we recommend you give it a whirl, if only for this.

The game itself was definitely full of substance though, and it more than stood up on its own two feet. The colossal style of gameplay isn’t always our favourite, but we felt that they managed to get it ticking over nicely in Lunaris, and it’s definitely a slot that we will be making a return to in the not too distant future.
