Ever played bingo? Ever felt like trying? Well, now you have the opportunity to combine both an online slot game and bingo, and it is presented to you by software provider NextGen Gaming in the offering Bingo Billions. In all honesty, though, the theme of bingo is limited to the appearance and design of the game. You will see plenty of bingo balls with different numbers on the reels, alongside bingo cards and a bingo winner with temporary insanity in his eyes. Other symbols include stacks of dollar bills, gold bars and the game logo. There’s a matching soundtrack to go along with the theme, but if you find it to be a little much, there’s always the mute button at your service.

Now as for the game’s layout, you have the common 5 reels and 3 rows. There is a total of 25 paylines available for you to place your stakes on, but if that seems like it’s too much, players have the freedom to also select a lesser number of paylines. In fact, you can go as low as just a single payline, which also significantly lowers the minimum bet. In fact, it will only set you back a humble 1p per spin. The maximum bet, on the other hand, is a total of £250 per single spin.

Special Features

Wild

You know that guy we just mentioned, with the crazy eyes? Well, he acts as the game’s Wild symbol. On top of that, he is also the highest paying icon on these reels, so those are already two reasons you would like to look out for him. As a Wild, the bingo winner will be able to substitute for any of the regular symbols, and it can also land in any position, anywhere across all five of the reels. However, it cannot replace the game’s Scatter when completing winning combos.

Scatter

The Scatter is the key to activating this game’s only special feature – the Freespins bonus. Just like the Wild, you can expect to land the Scatter just about anywhere on the screen. However, it will only really be worthwhile when appearing in combinations of at least 3 at the same time. This will trigger the feature and award you a cash prize, as well. Both of these things will be determined by the number of Scatters you actually landed.

Thus, 3 Scatter symbols will award you the minimum amount of 10 free spins; if you land 4 Scatters simultaneously during a spin you can count on 15 free spins; and finally, you can receive the maximum of 20 free spins if you land all 5 Scatter symbols at the same time. Furthermore, you can even retrigger the feature by landing another 3 or more Scatters, hence, you can gain even more free spins.

And if that weren’t enough, all throughout the bonus round you get to enjoy a 3x multiplier. Therefore, all winnings will be tripled as you play.

Verdict

Bingo Billions doesn’t really stimulate the imagination either visually or in terms of the setup. The theme is unusual, but not in an innovative way, and the graphics aren’t exactly to die for either. As for the structure, it’s pretty basic, with just the free spins bonus to look forward to. All in all, though, it’s still a decent offering with smooth gameplay and satisfying wins.
