Medusa is an online slot game by software provider NextGen Gaming and it’s based on the mythological creature from Ancient Greece that turned men who dared look into her eyes into stone. As you may remember, the monster had snakes for hair and that much is very well reflected in more than just one way in this game. For one, there are actual snakes on the reels, and for another, you can hear them hissing forebodingly in the game’s soundtrack as you play. Speaking of which, there are male vocals in the soundtrack as well, and we’re not quite sure which of the two is scarier. Medusa is a pretty nice offering by NextGen, although certainly not the best from this developer. It has decent quality graphics and a compelling setting.; but what really makes the game is, of course, its features. They’re fun, and especially the Pegasus Bonus can prove to be exceptionally lucrative.
