Thanks to Netent’s collaboration with Universal Studios, this game became not only a reality, but a brilliant one at that. The opening video to introduce the game is enough to entice players in itself, but the in-game features are even more thrilling. Before you can even begin spinning the reels, you’ll notice Dracula himself seated on his throne at the left of the screen. His menacing look will spur you on through reels filled with thematic characters like a beggar boy, a drunken man and a lady of privilege cradling her miniature dog, as well as A, J, K and Q symbols.
The game provides a five reel layout with four rows to accompany them. A total of 40 paylines have been incorporated for optimal payouts. The bet level in the game is able to be altered between one and 10, while the coin value starts from the minimum of £0.01 and can be increased up to £1.00 per line. This gives you the chance to place a maximum wager of £200 per spin. Autoplay is included to allow you to spin up to 1000 consecutive rounds.
The standard wild symbol in Dracula is represented by a blood-spattered ‘W’ and these can appear anywhere on reels two, three and four during the main game. They will stand in for all other symbols on the reels.
Stacked Symbols and Free Spins
The story of Dracula centres around two main characters, those of Dracula himself and Mina Harker. This game provides stacked symbols of both, and any part of the stacked symbols included in a winning payline will provide higher payouts.
If the entire stacked Dracula symbol appears on reel two and the entire stacked Mina symbol appears on reel four during the main game, 10 free spins will be awarded to you. During the free spins round, a stacked symbol of Dracula and Mina together can appear on reel three. If it does so fully, two additional free spins are awarded.
This feature is triggered randomly during the main game and on every spin during free spins mode. When activated, Dracula will transform into a colony of bats and flood the reels. They will land over a random selection of icons and transform them into one and the same, presenting stronger opportunities to create winning combinations.
Dracula offers players a great game based on a classic story with enough twists and turns to keep it exciting. The graphics and animations are sublime and often times terrifying, so our advice to you – don’t play it alone in the dark!
