Who doesn’t love an amusement park? Regardless whether you’re big or small, old or young, chances are you would probably just jump at the opportunity to spend the day at one – and with Netent’s online slot game Theme Park: Tickets of Fortune, you don’t even have to leave the house to enjoy a few exciting rides. This slot is all about fun, fun, fun. You can see it in the design and you can even hear it in the carnival-like backing track. There are bright colors everywhere you look, especially on the reels. You will see balloons shaped as the lower value playing card symbols, and in addition to them you get to see all the swans, cars, planes, and horses that you can experience the different rides in.

As far as the game’s layout goes, there are 5 reels and 3 rows, so you have your common slot game grid, only it comes with a pretty high 50 paylines. Steaks are reasonable, starting off at a minimum of 25p per single spin, and high rollers will get plenty of freedom, as well, with the maximum bet setting you back a total of £250 per spin. Be sure to also keep in mind the very attractive jackpot of 2,000 coins.

Special Features

There are a whole bunch of special features in store for players. In fact, you will probably feel like a kid who just entered a theme park and has no idea which ride to start with first.

You will also want to get access to the various bonus games, and here they are:

  • One of the six different bonus games is the Punchbag Bonus Game. The objective is simple and it is to punch the Punchbag to gain a cash prize.
  • Very similar to it is the Sledgehammer Bonus Game, which revolves around the same concept.
  • Then there’s the Can Tower Bonus Game, where you have to knock down cans. Here each coin win will be multiplier by two.
  • Next up is the Skee Ball Bonus Game, where the goal is to throw balls into pockets.
  • Then there’s the Fishing Bonus, which is basically a pick-me game awarding coin wins and additional picks.
  • Last but not least we have the Duck Shoot Bonus Game where you get to shoot at ducks.

Wild

The Wild symbol on these reels can substitute for all symbols except the Scatter, Claw, and Bonus symbols. In doing so, it will help form winning combinations and increase your winning potential. In addition, the Wild appears in full-reel stacks, which doesn’t hurt at all. However, it can only land on the middle reel 2, 3 and 4.

Ticket Game

Keep an eye open for the Scatter symbols on reels 3, 4, and 5; you will need to land all three of these symbols simultaneously in order to enter the Theme Park Ticket Game. If you do, you will find yourself spinning a Wheel of Fortune to win tickets to different Theme Park Bonus Games.

Now, each section of the wheel will award a different amount of tickets, and then based on the amount you have collected you can select the games you would like to play on the Theme Park Map.

Bonus Wheel

There is another way to access the Bonus Games and that is with the help of the Theme Park Bonus Wheel. To trigger it, you will need to land the Bonus symbol on reel 5. As a result, a Wheel of Fortune similar to the one above will award you access to one of the Bonus Games.

The Claw

One of the most thematic bonuses here would be the Claw Feature. Look out for the Claw symbol landing anywhere on reel 5 during a spin. Once it does, it will reach down below the reels and drag back a toy which will award you a coin win.

Verdict

Though lacking freespins, Theme Park: Tickets of Fortune is practically buzzing with entertaining special features. We really liked the fact that they all have to do with games you can play at a real theme park, and you get to win pretty nicely from many of them, too.
