Position yourself at the helm of a submarine and get ready to silently approach your enemies with the intent of blasting them to smithereens. This is what Silent Run is all about. You’ll be able to watch on as reels filled with underwater mines, torpedoes, battleships and various other naval units go spinning by. In the process, a dramatic soundtrack will play to keep you on the edge of your seat, while those ever so jagged submarine noises make their way to the surface every so often.
Silent Run features a five reel and three row layout, equipped with huge symbols and 25 paylines in total. The lines in this game are non-customisable, so the full 25 will always be wagered on. As a starting point, the minimum coin value that can be used is £0.01, while the maximum reaches £0.50 per line. The game’s bet level can be changed between one and 10, and this gives all players the opportunity to wager £125 per spin as a maximum.
Where to Play
The bonus game will put you into the heat of the battle. You’ll need to assist your allies and take aim at an enemy ship, then try to blow it up by firing the torpedoes gathered from the echo bonus sonar. Each ship torpedoed reveals a different win amount and your winnings are multiplied by the multiplier attached to each different torpedo.
Wild symbols are represented by a red backlit submarine lamp, and this acts as a stand in for all other symbols, except for echo bonus and echo wild symbols.
Reel three plays host to echo wild symbols, and should one of these appear, it will send out three sonar signals across the interface. These search the area for hidden wilds and upon revealing them, they will act as the standard wild does.
An echo bonus symbol appearing on the third reel will send out three sonar signals of its own, searching the reels for torpedoes. The number of these found will be a random number between two and five. This will also trigger the game’s bonus round.
Silent Run is one of our favourites thanks to its amazing bonus game and extra incorporated features. The submarine noises can get a little irksome at times, but as we all know, there’s a mute button there for a reason.
