Neon Staxx provides you with a gateway back to the 1980s, featuring an ultimately retro soundtrack and slanted layout. You’ll love the electronic tones and vivid imagery of the icons on the reels, which feature symbols of Netent’s standard A, J, K and Q, as well as predator symbols – those being a lion, a panther, an eagle and a snake. Every winning combination created will cue a blast of music that would no doubt have been top of the charts during the eighties.
There are 40 paylines included in Neon Staxx, which has five reels and four rows worth of symbols. Coin value is adaptable between £0.01 and £0.50, while the game’s bet level can be changed from one, two, three and up to the maximum level of ten. This allows a maximum wager of £100 to be played per spin. Autoplay and max bet buttons have been incorporated alongside.
Where to Play
The game’s SuperStaxx feature is a stack of symbols that appears on the reels. The randomly selected symbol will appear in stacks at the beginning of each spin along with the other symbols.
Each of the five reels contain a number of adjacent positions that are randomly replaced with one symbol from the paytable for every new spin, except for the scatter symbol.
During free spins, only the predator symbols or the wild symbol are randomly selected as the stacked symbol for the entire free spins round.
Wild symbols are integrated into gameplay, and these will substitute for all other symbols on the reels, except for scatters. The more wilds included in winning combinations, the higher the payout will be.
Three or more scatter symbols appearing on the reels in any position will trigger the aforementioned free spins round. Ten free spins will be awarded for three scatters, 15 free spins for four scatters and 20 free spins will be given for five scatter symbols.
Neon Staxx is a great game to play, even if just to listen to the stellar soundtrack. However, the included extra benefits of the super staxx and free spins features make it an exceptionally compelling product. The addition of the wilds, while not something especially new or unique, do provide even more reason to play Neon Staxx for days on end.
