You’ve heard of Wheel of Fortune, but have you ever tried the Reel of Fortune? This game brings all the thrills of a television gameshow to your screen, thanks to the innovation of Rival Gaming. So, if you’re ready to be a participant on Reel of Fortune, let’s dive in and find out what else this intriguing online slot provides to its players.
It’s a five-reel and three-row layout on display, so everything should look quite familiar for regular gamers. Alongside this design, Rival has added a total of 20 pay lines for you to bet on, but you have the chance to reduce the active number easily. You can also customise your wager by choosing a specific coin value between 1p and 25p, then you can bring up to 10 of those coins into play per spin in order to introduce a maximum wager of £50 per spin.
The gameshow is set in the 80s which might explain the dated graphics, and the symbols are made up of various prizes that can be won on the show. These include a barbecue set, a pink mixer, and a set of golf clubs. Then there’s the television, followed by a personal motorised scooter. The green dishwasher is another symbol, as is the blue fridge freezer which can multiply your wager by up to 500x. The highest paying symbols are a luxury yacht, a sports car, and a caravanette.
Donkey Bonus Round
Have you ever heard of a game show that features a Donkey Bonus round? You have now. Reel of Fortune has a symbol of some curtains with a dollar sign behind them that represents the bonus trigger for this feature.
You need to spin three or more of them into view anywhere in order to activate the Donkey Bonus round. Prior to that starting, you’ll also receive a pay-out from the scatter, which can be up to 50x your bet.
Plunko Bonus Round
On the other hand, you may end up activating the Plunko Bonus feature, another unique addition to Reel of Fortune. The symbol that will trigger this round is of the word “PLUNKO” tripled, and again, you’ll need to spin three or more of this one into view in any position in order to activate the Plunko Bonus feature.
This one operates in the same way as the Donkey Bonus trigger, in the sense that it provides a pay-out of up to 50x your stake before the bonus round comes into play.
Reel of Fortune does have a nice theme behind it, but we would have liked to have seen Rival explore it a little bit more. The bonus rounds are very nice, don’t get us wrong, it’s just that the slot doesn’t have anything else, so unless you’re able to activate one of the bonus features you’ll be stuck in a loop of spinning the reels in to little effect. That being said, it’s a nice enough addition to the developer’s collection of slots even if its potential hasn’t been fully recognised.
