Everyone likes the idea of a good old fashioned food fight, right? They look like such fun – pelting someone with a tomato or tossing a bowl of spaghetti over the head of someone you’re not too fond of.
Sadly, this slot game from RTG can’t make this happen in reality, but it does present you with a selection of symbols upon its reels that come in the form of food. You’ll see imagery of a burger and another of a slice of pizza, then come the symbols of a tomato, some pasta, a slice of pie and finally a bowl of pudding – this one is able to provide maximum standard pay-outs of 1,000x your in-play stake, too.
Food Fight has a layout that consists of five reels and three rows, a standard interface for regular video slot gamers. RTG has taken the decision to include a total of 9 paylines into the slot as well, although you have the opportunity to adjust the number that are active per spin. You need only press on the ‘Lines’ button at the bottom of the reels. Changing your bet is possible from the same location, with the ‘Bet One’ button offering up the ability to change the number of coins between one and five. You can also select a coin value from between 1p and £5. The maximum you can play for is £225 per spin.

Ice Cream Scatter
On the reels, you’ll see three different symbols that can make up a whole ice cream treat: the cornet, the ice cream and the chocolate topping. Collecting these three portions of the overall treat from any location on the reels will see you assemble the treat into one.
This will then pay out an Ice Cream Scatter bonus reward. From this, you’re able to win up to 405 credits and it will be added on top of any other line wins that you manage to form.
Pie Bonus Round
You’ll need to assemble a pie to be able to participate in the game’s other bonus round. This requires you to assemble the base, the meringue topping, and the strawberry decoration. You can do this with any amount bet or number of lines in play.
Once you have all three you’re ready to begin the food fight, so you’ll need to select your victim very carefully. Click on a pie and launch it in their direction. Every time you splatter someone with a pie, you’ll win an amount relative to the total bet that launched the bonus round. Keep on going with tossing pies until one of them misses. Great fun.

It’s always a bit odd to access an online slot game that doesn’t feature a wild symbol, we are no so accustomed to seeing them as standard. However, Food Fight from RTG doesn’t really need one. The slot’s bonus game and ice cream scatter pays make it all the more entertaining to play, and combined with some decent graphics and a funny theme it certainly stands out as being a great alternative option from this developer.
